It’s been a busy week, mostly because I’ve been trying to finish the cabinet doors for my kitchen.
So, how am I doing with my ROW80 goals? I’m glad you asked.
Even though I’ve been busy with other projects and responsibilities, I’ve still managed to keep up with my goals. Here’s the breakdown…
Goal #1 – Finish my First Draft
Still plugging away at it. It’s going to end up being a monster of a first draft, for reasons I’ve already listed in previous updates. I’m still hoping to finish it by the end of the month.
I’ve written a further 6500 words since the last check-in, bringing my total for this round up to about 14,800 words. I think I’ve still got about 20,000 (25? 30?) more until the end of the story, but I’ve made quite a bit of progress.
I didn’t say they were great words, just words 😛
Goal #2 – Write At Least Three Articles/Essays
Haven’t started on this one yet, because, as I’ve mentioned before, I’m saving this one for when I’m done the first draft and want to take a break from it.
Goal #3 – Start Editing
Haven’t started on this one, either. Can’t edit until the draft is done.
Goal #4 – Read at least Two Books
I’ve started reading Forever And A Day, by Anthony Horowitz, and am about a third of the way through it – page 84 of 245. I’m really enjoying it, and I’m also really enjoying reading for the fun of it again.
Ok, that’s it for me today. Hope you’re all doing well and on your way to achieving your goals. Have a good night.
