I’d like to start off tonight saying Thank You to our Veterans. It’s Remembrance Day here in Canada, so stating that here is the very least I can do, and I hope all of you remembered to take a minute to reflect on all they sacrificed for the rest of us.
Today, I took a trip out to visit my mom out in the county, so I didn’t have a lot of time to do much around the house. I still took care of a few odds and ends, worked a bit in my shop, and had some extra time to pop into the big box book store at the mall and wander around the stacks.
We also went out for dinner this evening with some good friends, and had a great time.
I did still manage to eek out some time to write. I am trying very hard to maintain my momentum with that project.
I didn’t end up cracking 2000 words today, but came very close, and I did pass the 27,000 word mark. It’s awesome seeing the “words remaining” column being less than the “words written” column, finally.
Had a few beers at dinner, and continued with the party after getting home. Going to enjoy some of the benefits of living in Canada tonight (It’s Legal now, bitches!!!) and finish watching the Haunting of Hill House and Doctor Who
Hope you all had a good weekend.
